Day +50

It has been 50 days since my BMT and I am midway to reaching Day +100 (as my doctor reminded me today, the first 100 days are the most critical). My platelet level has past 100 today (it usually takes 100 days post BMT for the bone marrow to produce that many platelets so I'm well ahead of schedule) and my ANC is in the middle of the normal range.

I don't need to go into hospital next Tuesday since it's a public holiday and my transplant doctor says I can skip a dose of the weekly IVIG since my counts are good. Yippee ...
